Youth Work

As Youth & Outreach Leader for TFW, I have the responsibility of ensuring that our young people's groups and activities are run smoothly, with the emphasis on having fun and bringing the good news of the gospel to the young people in our community. It is a wonderful privilege and joy to be involved in this important part of TFW's ministry and it is exciting to see the number of young people coming through our doors and actively participating in the activities we hold.

We have approximately 180 children and young people attending our groups each week, with ages ranging from only a few months old to 18 years. They are supervised by around 50 dedicated adults and young helpers, who give up their spare time to ensure that each one enjoys their time at TFW.

We ensure that we always maintain the correct adult to child ratios and that supervision is provided at all times. TFW maintains an up to date child protection policy supported by the Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service. We also provide many more extra activities, such as trips and weekend breaks, which are always well attended.
